Vacancy: District Missional Property Manager

The Newcastle upon Tyne Methodist District is seeking a District Missional Property Manager to help churches make the best possible use of their buildings and property resources for mission.

Working collaboratively with lay and ordained colleagues, the successful applicant will offer support and oversight on property matters across the District. This will include helping churches to utilise, develop or dispose of properties appropriately, while also supporting the Methodist Church’s carbon-reduction commitments.

Applicants should have experience of property matters, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a varied workload. A specific faith is an essential requirement for this role, and an enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.

This is a permanent, part-time position of 15 hours per week, worked flexibly by agreement. It is based at the District Office in Benton, with the possibility of some home working. The salary is £14.55–£16.63 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
