Celebration Worship Brings Sunderland Methodist Circuit Together

Members of the Sunderland Methodist Circuit will gather for a Circuit Celebration Worship Service on Sunday 1 March 2026 at 10:45am, bringing together congregations, civic leaders and guests for a shared act of worship.

Held at Roker Methodist Church, the service will be led by Rev’d Dr Inderjit Bhogal OBE and will include contributions from Deputy Mayor Cllr Melanie Thornton and Deputy Mayoress Carol Hopps. The occasion is intended as a joyful and inclusive celebration of faith, service and community life across the circuit.

Organisers describe the service as an opportunity to reflect on shared values of welcome, justice and unity, while strengthening connections between churches and the wider community. Everyone is warmly invited to attend and take part in this special moment in the circuit’s calendar.
